I’m so excited to be releasing this collection with Christine Guest and Jill Wolcott Knits. The first release in our collection, Attached and Apart: First Course is now live! Color Conduit (shown above) was designed by Christine Guest and is an easy project that will teach you a few great tricks. Christine includes photo tutorials and IG reels to show you multiple ways of accomplishing the look so you can pick the method you like the best. As a shawl, Color Conduit is an excellent choice for mini skeins, advent sets, or leftover yarns. Release 3 in Attached and Apart: First Course is Chios Cowl design by Jill Wolcott Knits. Despite the name, this has little to do with Greek anything. Ultimately I was inspired by early Greek and Roman garments. There is no evidence that either the Greeks or the Romans wore cowls, but why not? Everything is attached in Chios Cowl, but will come apart in the garments (January’s eBook collection). Use Chios Cowl to get a good-sized gauge swatch that is “something.” The two stitch patterns featured are used in the garments I am featuring in our second release in January 2026.
