Thank you so much for the love you’ve shown Puddles, the GDCSJ, and me as well as the enthusiasm you’ve shown for my designs! I know lots of you enjoy being part of the pre-release pattern production through test knitting. Today I am excited to share that I now have a modality for you to be involved post-release too!

One of the small treasures on the FAQ page is “I want to be a Brand Ambassador” tab, but what does it mean? It simply means helping me overcome one of my biggest limitations of being homebound by being my knitters in the world. Knit your Knit Eco Chic patterns in public at your LYSs and other knit and chat groups as well as proudly wearing your Knit Eco Chic based FOs in public too! Share your love for Knit Eco Chic with your knitting groups, local yarn shops, and fiber friends. Take your Knit Eco Chic projects into your knitting world and show off your stitch work. When someone inquires “what are you knitting,” tell ’em and let ’em know where they can get their copy too. In exchange for being my presence in the world, I’ll offer you some cool perks! If you’d like to sport the title of Knit Eco Chic Brand Ambassador get started by dropping me an email with your name, location, what knitting groups you knit with, what eco fibers you love, and most importantly, which patterns speak to you.

Please remember, though, that sharing the pattern love doesn’t mean sharing the pattern itself. All my patterns are copyrighted. It does mean sharing the info on where interested knitters may purchase their own copies, which are available here on the Knit Eco Chic website, as well as through Ravelry, Craftsy, and Patternfish. Plus, if you are the owner of a local yarn shop, the patterns are available wholesale through Ravelry’s In Store Program as well as through an independent arrangement with yours truly.

If the structure is a little too much for you, there are still plenty of ways you can help me grow. Share your projects on your favorite social media! Remember to tag #wearyourknitting and/or #knitecochic/ @knitecochic. Set your Ravelry project pages to “public” (directions here) and let me know so I can share your stitches on my social media too.

Onward and upward, my friends. Together, let’s turn the knitting world Knit Eco Chic green!
