Check out these tips and tricks for Bucolic Chic!

Sometimes it’s hard to read you stitches. One option is to use a different colored yarn for the picots. Another, tip 1: keep your picots on a separate needle until you are ready to incorporate them!

Tip 2: our favorite, use a locking stitch marker between the picot stitches and the “live” shawl stitches. “Our” being the wonderful review knitters – thank you, knitters!

Tip 3: another suggestion from a review knitter – skip the counting during the shawl with a little cast on prep! After you’ve cast on half the picots for your size, place a unique marker, and cast on the remaining picots. Then simply follow the increase directions until you hit your unique marker and when you do transition to the decrease directions. No shawl stitch counting required!
