Finished Measurements:
18”/ 46cm (24”/ 61cm) around 8.5”/ 21.5cm tall

Materials:
1 skein Cestari Monticello DK, shown in Pewter (size 18”/ 46cm)
Skein info: 75% Cotton & 25% Imported French Linen; 250yd / 228.6m per 100g/ 3.53oz
Sample weights: 70g/ 2.47oz (94g/ 3.32oz)
US 5/ 3.75mm circular needles
Cable needle
Yarn needle
1 stitch markers

Blocked Gauge:
25 sts and 30 rows over 4”/ 10cm in pattern stitch.  Note: exact gauge is not critical to this design. Gauge variations may impact final size and yardage requirements.

Special Notes:

  • Join It: for a truly seamless cowl, at the end of Cast On mock 3 needle bind off 7 I-cord sts to the I-cord cast on sts.  Check out the Knit Eco Chic blog for a quick video demonstration.

    I purchased this pattern from Ravelry and am trying to cast on. Do you have a tutorial on the 7 stitch i cord caste on? The ones I have seen on the web are not exactly like the one you have in the directions.
