All patterns by all participating designers (over 15,000) are eligible for the KAL/CALs and all for sale (not free) patterns by participating designers are eligible to win prizes. So how’s a KAL/CAL-er supposed to find the patterns that they love best? This blog walks you through a few of the options:
The Participating Designer’s Thread This resource was addressed in a previous blog, but to recap, each of our 335 designers are listed in this thread with a preview image of some of the delights from their shop. Scroll through and find one that speaks to you!
Indie Design Gift-a-long Pinterest Boards Created by “Team Pinterest”, the boards include one pin for each of the designs included in the kick off sale:
Broken down by KAL/ CAL category, with an extra special one just for crochet designs, the 9 Pinterest boards are a great way to view and find your favorite patterns and designers. If you are a frequent pinterest user, all the pinterest tools apply. You can follow one or all of the boards, save pins, send pins, and re-pin. But the best thing about all this pins is that they are linked to Ravelry. So when you come across one you love, just click on it to return to Raverly to purchase.
For instance, on the 2015 Ravelry Gift-A-Long: Toys, Home & Miscellaneous board, you’ll see Sanguinaria yarn bag by Naomi Parkhurst, aka gannet:
just click on the pin to be redirected to the pattern on Ravelry.
Team Pinterest created those 9 boards of over 5000 patterns in just a few short days. So if you love the boards, please stop by and send them some love back!

Or select the Gift-a-long 2015 Sale Patterns Bundle, highlighted in blue. Like the first featured bundle, this one includes directions for pre-defined searching so if you are looking for a particular type of pattern to match yarn in your stash, just follow the directions inside the bundle!
Team Bundle created those two featured bundles in just a few short days. So if you love the bundles, please stop by and send them some love back!
