Welcome to a new year and new decade, knitters! 2020’s theme is…
Gorgeous Gradients!!!
Taking a wide angled view of gradients, the factor tying all this year’s releases together is stunning color, from true gradients to tonals and even some multis. Some of the designs feature the use of gradients in unusual ways… not just yarn, but there I go letting the naughty digits give away surprises.
New in 2020:
Patterns – our first pattern club! What’s a pattern club? It’s an eBook of knitting patterns exclusive to the eBook for one year. We have 4 firm designs and a potential 5th planned for our pattern club. The theme, gorgeous gradients applied to moebius! In addition to the patterns, the eBook will feature photo tutorials and accompanying you tube videos. We hope these designs will stretch your skill set and appeal to your sense of adventure… both crafting and wearing!
Cowls and shawls headline this year with a sweater or two and some unusual wearables sneaked in for fun.
2020 marks another “curation” year, so if there are any patterns from 2017 or earlier you’ve had your eye on, now’s the time to pick them up. Come April, I’ll be officially announcing the retiring patterns and will be shooting for at least 10.
Blogs – tutorials, interviews, yarn reviews, and maybe another fiber focus. Look out for a HUGE announcement for that secret non-knitting project. I’m itching to let the naughty digits loose, but have to hold on just a few more weeks. (Yep, this was the one from November that got delayed… new announcement date, end of February.)
Events – pattern club KAL! This year long eBook release comes with a KAL for the first design scheduled to take place both on Ravelry and our Knit Eco Chic Slack group. If you enjoy the KAL feature, Puddles and I will continue one for each installment. Please let us know. As each new pattern is added to the eBook, the price goes up to reflect the addition, so if you love the concept, join in now for the best price. Get your two skeins – 1 gorgeous gradient and 1 high contrasting solid – ready for kick off mid-January!
Verse of the year – Psalm 16:9
Happy Knitting!

So exciting! It’s going to be great to see what you’re doing with gradients! & moebius, too! I need to decide on some great contrasting yarns for Love, Moebius
