T-4 days until the 4th annual Indie Design Gift-a-long begins
I can’t believe it is that time already! Join in on the social knitting & crocheting event of the year!
It’s easy:
1. Join the Indie Design Gift-a-long group on Ravelry
2. Wait until Tuesday November 22, 2016 at 8PM (EST)

While you wait, we’ve got a pre-GAL chat thread going strong, so jump on in and chat up with your fellow crafters!
3. Purchase your favorite gifting patterns
To kick off the GAL all the designers banded together to offer 25% off 5-20 individual self-published patterns in their respective shops. Wait until “go” time and use coupon code: giftalong2016 on your eligible purchases.
Like something that isn’t on sale? – go ahead and buy it! All patterns (paid or free) by all the participating designers are eligible for participating in the KAL/ CAL threads. All paid (non-free) patterns are eligible for the FO thread!
4. Pop into the appropriate KAL/ CAL thread and post your intentions!

Why 8? Lots of reasons, but one is the Opadoo challenge – knitting/ crocheting one item in each of the 8 categories before the stroke of mid-night December 31, 2016. More on this in the group!
5. Start KNITTING (CROCHETING) at 8pm (EST) November 22nd!
But you must wait until 8pm November 22nd in order to qualify. So in the meantime, stock up at your LYS with your favorite fibers, needles, & notions; wind those skeins; and clear the project decks!

We keep as much of it hidden as possible until kick off at 8PM (EST) November 22. Don’t worry, just complete step 1 now & either hang out in the pre-GAL chat thread or set a reminder to come back on November 22nd.
