The MKAL runs in the Knit Eco Chic group on Ravelry from the Spring Equinox (March 20, 2015) to Earth Day (April 22, 2015). Join us and knit your own solar inspired non-pi circular shawl in organic cotton & bamboo yarn! The tech edited & test knit intermediate level pattern is fully written & charted with stitch demos too.
MKAL highlights: prizes, interviews, video demos, chatting, and of course, knitting fun!
To kick of the MKAL, the pattern is on 50% off crack of dawn special. No coupon needed!! The crack of dawn special runs through March 15, 2015. From March 16th -20th the pattern will be on a morning light special of 25% off. No coupon needed. The pattern returns to full noon-day price March 20, 2015.
Ready to board? Here’s your pre-flight check list. Be sure to order your yarn early so you ensure its arrival by the start date! The dyeing process can take 3-4 weeks. Please add in comments that it is for the KAL starting in March 20. Kelly, the hand-dyer at the Unique Sheep, will do her best to get yarn in your hands by KAL start, but some orders may take a little longer. To order choose 300 grams under skein size, “Gradiance” as color way type, and the put in color way name. Or if you do not want to use Gradiance select 300 grams as a “Regular” color way. For color suggestions, check out the Solar Flare MKAL thread in the Knit Eco Chic Ravelry group. (Note: if you have allergies, like I do, simply request no essential oils in the dying process.)
