If you are a part of Knit Eco Chic’s group on Ravelry, then you may have heard murmurs of a 2014 summer knit-a-long (KAL). The time has come to turn murmurs into reality; Knit Eco Chic’s Summer 2014 KAL is part of the “Designed in Canada Summer 2014 KAL.” And you don’t even have to be a Canadian to participate!
How it works:
The KAL runs July 11- September 30, 2014 on Ravelry.
•Pick a pattern by a Canadian Designer (like me – see below) – there is an every growing list here.
•To kick the KAL off right, I’m offering 10% off July 10-31st (ends midnight EST) on all my Ravelry patterns with coupon code canadakal2014
•Tag your project page with canadakal2014
•Start knitting!
•Join the fun in the KAL chatter thread here, so we know you are participating. The official rules for the drawing are posted here – note, you must be a member or join the Designed in Canada Group. Make sure you only include project started after July 11th, 2014.
Additionally, for Knit Eco Chic group members, I’ll be holding a special drawing on all completed Knit Eco Chic projects. Win a skein of yarn from my stash (USA only) or pattern of your choice (USA & International). Please tag project with KnitEcoChicKAL2014 so Puddles can easily run the random select drawing.

So what will you knit?
Didn’t know I was a Canadian? You must not of heard me speak, even 23 years later, I still have an accent and affinity for “eh” or seen me during hockey season – GO Maple Leafs! Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario I’m proud to be counted as a Canadian Designer by the Designed in Canada Group.
