Check it out – Eco Stitch is having a sale on all her hand dyed linen! Full details are on her website here: eco-stitch – 100% hand-dyed linen: eco-friendly, vegan yarn. No coupon needed, so act quickly before she sells out of your favorite colour. Wondering what to make? She has some patterns on her site, too. These are the ones I’ve designed with her sport weight linen. Though I don’t have a pattern for crochet, I can attest to the fact it crochets up beautifully!!!! This was about 300 grams of my yarn scraps from the above project. If you’re new to working with linen, this is a great opportunity to try it out! Check out Diane’s ‘info’ page …
From Prolegomena to The Stacks
I’ve always wanted to name a design “Prolegomena” so set forth with that intent for this design. However, as I stitched the concept to life, it began to tell a different story.
June Blooms
Summer knitting invites easy stitches with June Blooms. Inspired by my gramma June’s dying words to me, “keep knitting; keep designing,” it contrasts her love of simple garment design with the vibrant colors of a day in the garden. June Blooms works beautifully over tank tops and long-sleeved shirts alike.
